About Ryan Branch
Hi! I'm Ryan Branch, a software engineer and scientific researcher from Michigan.
My hobbies include 3D printing, electronics, and programming. I have a wide variety of software interests including simulations, image processing, machine learning, procedural generation, and digital art.
I attended the University of Michigan College of Engineering from September 2014 to April 2018.
During this time I participated heavily in scientific research, which you can read about here.
In April of 2018 I graduated with a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. Further educational details, including a list of coursework, are available here.
After graduating, I first worked as an Automation Engineer in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Since May of 2020 I have been a Software Engineer at Photon Semantics, a computer vision startup which I co-founded in 2017 along with several other researchers and professors.

Graduate School Applications
I recently applied to several Ph.D. programs, with the goal of studying Computational Materials Science beginning in the Fall 2021 semester.
